Following Boris’s last announcement on the 23rd February, we wanted to update you on the first of our steps to resuming more of our services. As of Monday 8th March, we will be re starting routine booster appointments and routine neutering .
We will be sending out vaccine reminders to all our clients who we have been unable to see during this last lockdown. The great news is we now have our new site in Skellingthorpe to offer additional appointments at. We will be asking the majority of our clients to attend either our Skellingthorpe or Doddington Road surgery to have vaccinations – this allows us to ensure we can maintain our appointments at Newport for complicated or emergency appointments. We will of course have a few appointments at Newport daily to allow those who cannot travel to come there. We are still asking clients at Newport to check in at the window- our vets will offer you the choice of coming into the waiting room whilst we examine your pet, or remaining in the car. At our Doddington Road surgery, we still ask you to remain in the car and at Skellingthorpe you can enter the practice to check in, wait in the waiting room and wait for your pet to be seen.
Routine neutering can now also be booked-our new site at Skellingthorpe has a fully equipped operating theatre to enable us to perform surgery there too.
Please don’t forget that you can request to see any of our vets- the reception team can tell you who is at what branch on any given day.
Over the next few months we will keep you updated as we re open the range of services in parallel with the national guidance. .Thanks again to everyone for your support and patience over the last 12 months and we look forward to seeing you and your pets soon.
PS Please follow us on Facebook as we will be regularly updating our services on there.
